History / Facilities

Honeyville Metal has come a long way since Chris Hochstetler started the metal fabrication business on his farm in 1951. Our history is a story of growth and expansion, attention to our customers’ needs and the integration of family values into a successful business environment.

Expansion in early years

Success came early to Honeyville Metal, and Chris cultivated the businesses as demand for his top-quality work grew. In 1953, he asked his son Ora to join his growing business, and over the next ten years they twice enlarged their 32’ x 60’ facilities to manage the increasing workload.

For the last fifty years, Honeyville Metal has continued to expand its facilities and add family members and other employees to the management team. We incorporated in 1966, and in 1972 built a 10,000 square foot, all-steel building across the street from the family farm. Since, we have grown into the current 98,000 square foot facility that we use to fabricate, warehouse, ship and receive every order.

Family Ownership

Today, Honeyville Metal is owned and managed by second and third generation family, along with other stockholders and key employees who have been a part of the Honeyville Metal family for many years.
